Privacy-First Architecture: Wordy Unlimited does not require user accounts, email registrations, or server-side logins. All game stats, streaks, and booster inventories are stored strictly on your local device.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in data minimization. We do not operate our own database servers to harvest or sell your personal data.

A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Gameplay Statistics: Total games played, games won, win streaks, guess distribution, and 3-game ad frequency counters.
Game State: Current board state, target word progress, and daily word completion status.
Booster Inventory: Quantities of earned Hints, Cleanups, and Wheel Respins.
Preferences: Sound effects and tactile haptic vibration toggles.

B. Information Processed by Third-Party SDKs (Google AdMob)

The App integrates Google AdMob (Google LLC) to support free gameplay through third-party advertising. AdMob automatically processes technical information to deliver relevant ads and detect fraud:

Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (GAID / AAID), device model, OS version, and screen metrics.
Network & Diagnostic Info: Coarse IP address (used for region-level ad delivery and geo-compliance), connection status, and SDK crash logs.
Ad Interaction Telemetry: Impressions, click events, video completions, and fraud prevention signals.

2. Advertising Formats & Frequency

Wordy Unlimited utilizes three distinct ad formats powered by Google AdMob:

Banner Ads: Displayed at the bottom of gameplay screens, positioned safely above the system navigation bar.
Periodic Interstitial Ads: Fullscreen ads presented at natural transitions in Classic Mode—specifically once every three (3) completed games (after a win or loss). Interstitials never interrupt active typing or mid-round gameplay. Dismissing the ad automatically transitions the player into a new round.
Voluntary Rewarded Video Ads: Optional ads that users voluntarily choose to watch to earn in-game Boosters (Hints, Cleanups) or Prize Wheel respins.

3. Device Permissions & Clarity

INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used exclusively to request advertisements via Google AdMob.
VIBRATE: Used for optional tactile haptic feedback during typing and victories.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used strictly for local on-device reminder schedules (e.g. Daily Wordy drop). No remote push tokens (FCM) are transmitted.
Microphone Clarification: The App plays local sound effects only. The App does not access your microphone, record audio, or store voice data.

4. Consent & Privacy Regulations (GDPR / CCPA)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK, the App integrates Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to obtain and manage consent for advertising identifiers.

We do not sell personal data. California and US users can opt out of interest-based ads via device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID).

5. Children's Privacy

Wordy Unlimited is built for a General Audience (Ages 13 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

"Wordle" is a registered trademark of The New York Times Company. Wordy Unlimited is an independent puzzle game created by Iconic Studios and is not affiliated with, authorized, maintained, sponsored, or endorsed by The New York Times Company or Josh Wardle.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or playing Wordy Unlimited, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

2. Eligibility & License

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Iconic Studios grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

3. Advertisements & Natural Transitions

The App is provided free of charge and is supported by third-party advertisements delivered by Google AdMob:

You acknowledge that periodic interstitial advertisements may be shown at natural game transitions (such as once every 3 completed rounds in Classic Mode).
Rewarded advertisements are voluntary and provide virtual in-game gameplay items upon completion.
We do not control the content of third-party advertisements or external websites linked within ads.

4. Virtual Boosters & In-Game Items

Virtual items (Hints, Cleanups, Respins) are earned exclusively via gameplay or optional rewarded ads.
Virtual boosters possess no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are stored locally on your device.
Uninstalling the App or clearing device storage cache will permanently erase your locally stored virtual items and streak stats.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Iconic Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the application.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
